Al-Ahjari and the al-Madoumi visit the national chess camp for the deaf.

 

Brother Mr. Muhammad Al-Ahjri, Secretary General of the Yemeni Olympic Committee, and Brother Mr. Abbas Al-Madoumi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth for the Sports Sector, visited today, Thursday 10/15/2020, 

the headquarters of the Yemen  Deaf Sports Federation in the capital and were briefed on the performance of the training camp for the individual Yemeni team of chess for the deaf to prepare for the international competition (Men) that will be held on Saturday 10/17/2020 via (online) and organized by the International Chess Committee of the Deaf (ICCD).

Al-Ahjari affirmed his optimism about the preparation and activity in the federation despite what the Yemeni sport is going through due to the aggression and promised to support talents in various sports activities for the deaf and facilitate their training and preparation.

For his part, Mr. Abbas Al-Madoumi, Undersecretary of the Sports Sector, affirmed his happiness with this distinguished preparation and organization for the deaf group, as it is the first international individual tournament for the deaf.

He wished the national team to achieve results at the Arab and international levels.

 

Brother / Ahmed Al-Qamra, President of the Federation, welcomed the visit and considered it an honorable history that strengthens the morale of the deaf in Al-Qaeda (We are energy if they support us).

The championship is sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and with support from the Youth Welfare Fund and the Handicapped Fund.
