Yemen wins the presidency of the Arab Organization of Sign Language Interpreters for the next four years
The Arab professor and expert in sign language, the translator Abdel-Waseh Muhammad Ahmed Megali, won the presidency of the Arab Organization of Sign Language Interpreters by 63%, over his Saudi competitor, Abdullah Asiri, in the elections that gathered 163 participants in the elections out of a total of 224 members representing sign language interpreters in our various Arab countries and official and private television channels. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Abdul-Wasa, the sign language announcer for the Yemen satellite channel, is one of the founders of the work and local and Arabic indicative translation.
