Asian Deaf Federation elects new administrative body 2024 - 2028

The Asian Football Confederation held its 13th electoral session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the attendance of all its members from 24 countries

Where 5 people from 5 countries ran for the presidency, and after distributing nomination coupons to the member states, the candidate of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Captain Mohammad Borgar, won the elections for the presidency of the Asian Football Confederation for the third time

After that, the nominations were opened for the position of Vice President, in which the candidate of Singapore, Captain Dennis Tan, won.

After that, the nomination door was opened for membership in the Executive Office of the Federation for only 5 members according to the regulations, and 8 candidates representing the countries of Bahrain, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Australia, India, Japan, Thailand, and South Korea applied for membership, while Kuwait withdrew from the nomination for membership to make room for competitors due to the large number, and after a fierce competition, five candidates representing the following countries won membership in the Executive Office of the Federation within the Executive Office. At the end of closing the nomination door and completing the voting and announcing the participants, the President of the Federation confirmed that he will make every effort to develop and modernize the sports activities of the member countries of the Asian Federation, which number 24 countries.
