The Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities launched today the artistic and rhetorical ceremony on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities the in 3 December 2019, which is celebrated by the Republic of Yemen with other countries of the year on the third of December of each year, in partnership with the National Union fot Disabled Associations in yemen and with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The ceremony was held at Taj sheba Hotel at 10:00 am today.
We also thank the remarkable initiative of the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, represented by Dr. Ali Nasser Mughaly, Executive Director of the Fund for his keenness in the success of this celebration, which revived the spirit of hope and optimism of every disabled person in the Republic of Yemen that it is not disabled but multi-talented and revives the spirit of humanity in the surrounding society. The person with disabilities should be an integral part of society and represent energy if qualified and impaired if neglected.
The ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries and officials, including the Prime Minister, the Head of Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Yemen, the Executive Director of the Fund for the Welfare and Rehabilitation of the Disabled and number of academics and specialists, the National Union Disabled Societies for yemen and representatives of the Disabled Specific Societies and Sports Associations for the Disabled and Deaf people.
