Postponement of the 24th deafiympics

Commenting on our previous post on the holding of the 24th Summer Deaf Games December 2021

The Organizing Committee of the 2021 summer deafiympics tournament has received a letter from the International Committee for Deaf Sport (ICSD) concerned with the health and safety of deaf athletes with the decision to postpone the Olympic Games to May 2022.

The decision to postpone is due to the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic from one country to another

This measure seeks to ensure a longer time to immunize the world's population, in order to protect the health of deaf athletes and stop the spread of this virus
