Launching the Republic Championship for the Deaf in Shooting 2023

Major General Mujahid / Mohammed Ayash Qahim, Governor of Hodeidah Governorate, Chairman of the Local Council, inaugurated the Second Republic Championship for the Deaf in Shooting 2023 AD in the hall of the College of Physical Education at Hodeidah University. The governor stressed in his speech on the occasion that the meeting of (11) governorates represented by the Secretariat - Aden - Hadramout Mukalla - Hadramout Seiyun - Amran - Mahwit - Sana'a and Dhamar - Ibb - the Red Sea Guard Hodeidah) is the best evidence of the unity of the Yemeni people who reject the projects of the young, adhering to the values ​​of fathers and grandfathers in defeating the causes of division and division and their croakers, referring in his speech to overcoming all difficulties facing the participants and facilitating everything that makes the championship successful in a way that presents Hodeidah as the capital of sports and a caring incubator for the championship for all its deaf sons from various governorates. For his part, Captain Ahmed Abdelkhaleq Al-Qamrai, Chairman of the General Federation of Deaf Sports and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Championship, delivered a speech in which he praised the support provided by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, represented by His Excellency the Minister, Mr. Mohammed Hussein Majd Al-Din Al-Muayyadi, for the success of the championship, which contributed to financing the championship and facilitating its establishment, and the cooperation of the Youth Office, the University Presidency, and the Deaf Association in Hodeidah in providing many services that contributed to reaching this Yemeni-Yemeni meeting par excellence. He also thanked the various parties that contributed to supporting and making the championship a success, which continues from August 26 to 30, with the cooperation of the Yemeni Shooting Federation and the caring follow-up of the father, the governor. The governor, accompanied by the director of the Youth Office, Imad Al-Barai, the director of State Lands and Real Estate, the director general of the qualitative activity at the Ministry of Youth, Captain Abdul-Wahhab Al-Hawani, the director of activities at the Youth and Children Fund, Hamza Saleh, the head of the Disabled Union branch in Hodeidah Governorate, Ziad Jabali, the head of the executive committee of the tournament, Mr. Ibrahim Jahhaf, the head of the Hodeidah Deaf Association and the sports supervisor of the tournament, Mr. Ghamdan Shamsan, officially launched the tournament by firing the first shot at the targets that will be shot at by (29) players distributed between rifle shooting and others competing in pistol shooting, as well as the shooting competitions of deaf women, for whom a competition was allocated among them for 6 female competitors, all from Hodeidah, in addition to the men’s team competing from the eleven governorates.
